Flu Vaccinations 2021

Flu Vaccine Update 2021

Due to the delivery issues with the flu vaccine this year we have had to cancel our Sat clinic on Sat 25th Sep for over 65Years. These appointments have been moved to the new clinic date on Saturday 9th October. If you had an appointment it will be at the same time. If this isn’t convenient then please contact reception

Who can have the flu vaccine?

The flu vaccine is given to people who:

  • are 50 and over (including those who’ll be 50 by 31 March 2021)
  • have certain health conditions
  • are pregnant
  • are in long-stay residential care
  • receive a carer’s allowance, or are the main carer for an older or disabled person who may be at risk if you get sick
  • live with someone who’s at high risk from coronavirus (on the NHS shielded patient list)
  • frontline health or social care workers

Please see NHS website – Who Should Have The Flu Vaccination for full details.

It’s important to go to your appointments unless you or someone you live with has symptoms of coronavirus.

Unfortunately we have no information on Covid Boosters about where and when they will be given.
