Registering and Getting Online

You must register before you are able to use the online service this can be done easily by completing the on-line form, Request access to Online Services at The Over Surgery and returning to reception. Please note you will need to present Photo ID, such as your driving licence or passport, at reception before the registration process can be completed.

Once registered you will be given a username and password that you can use to access the online service via the SystemOnline link. You will automatically be given access to book and cancel appointments with access to your repeat prescriptions including ordering these online at the time of registration.

Book and Cancel Appointments

Booking Appointments:

You can book the following types of appointments online:

• Routine GP appointments
• Telephone GP appointments
• Phlebotomy (blood test) appointments

Appointments for our nurses are not currently available online because of the significant variation in length of time for each appointment dependent on the clinical need. These are best booked by contacting our reception team.

Cancelling Appointments:

Appointments can only be cancelled if they are more than one hour ahead. If you need to cancel an appointment with less than an hour’s notice, please contact the reception team.

Repeat Prescriptions

You can see and order your repeat medication  using both online options

If you use Over Pharmacy your medications will be ready three full working days after requesting your medication(s). Please note Over Pharmacy is closed for lunch Monday – Friday 1pm-2pm and closed at weekends.

Using the Online systems is by far the easiest way of ordering your repeat medications and we encourage all of our patients, where possible, to do so. If this is not at all possible the pharmacy team is still helping patients to order medication through pharmacy however the NHS are phasing this out eventually.

You can also order your repeat medications by Posting your repeat slip in the box outside, if we are closed, or inside the surgery during opening hours. Ideally 7 days before you are due to run out of medication and only ordering what you need.

Please note we cannot accept repeat medication requests over the phone or on our answerphone.
